“Ideal teachers are those who use themselves as bridges over which they invite their students to cross, then having facilitated their crossing, joyfully collapse, encouraging them to create bridges of their own.”

The Bahamas Primary Student of the Year
We would like to congratulate Year 7 learner Madisson Deveaux, who will be representing Windsor as our nomination for The Bahamas Primary School Student of the Year Foundation 2017. This award recognises over one hundred young, talented students throughout the nation; saluting them for their scholastic and extra-curricular achievements.
We are so very proud of Madisson and are honoured that she will be representing our school this coming year. We wish her the very best of luck as she works towards compiling a portfolio of all her academic achievements, community service, and an essay which we will post in our newsletter once her application has been submitted.
We know she will continue to make Windsor proud!
Way to go, Madisson!
Teachers Touch the Future
Teachers are the most important assets of any school and WPS is no exception. Our dedicated faculty reflects the international nature of our community, representing nine different nationalities, and has tremendous collective breadth and depth of experience in education. Over half of our faculty hold advanced degrees and many others are currently working towards additional qualifications. Above all, our teachers love working with young people and helping them to grow and develop. We seek to inspire learners and to provide them with the academic and social skills that will enable them to fulfill their potential as responsible global citizens.
